Hallucinations? Delusions?

Most people have had some experience with these. Many are still experiencing them. Some have learned how to cope with them. A few have written about them. On May 9th in Ottawa, Canada, four authors will be together as part of a panel discussion to talk about their journeys back to wellness and about their experiences as writers. This event will be featured as part of the 3rd annual meeting of the Canadian Network for Research in Schizophrenia and Psychoses.

THE AUTHORS AND THEIR BOOKS:

Kagan Goh: Surviving Samsara: A Memoir of Breakdowns, Breakthroughs, and Mental Illness

Johnny Frem Dixon: Schizophrenia and the Common Cold

Jude Merserau: What’s so Funny?

Leif Gregersen: Through the Withering Storm and Surviving Mental Health Stigma
